Artificial intelligence does not replace trust in the years of experience

I always say that as a lawyer, I offer my clients an asset that is priceless: trust.

And this is reflected in the way I work: for 11 years I have been serving a European client who owns companies in Italy and Spain, which, in turn, are partners in companies that we opened for him in Brazil.

Therefore, when there are any changes to the corporate structure of Italian and European companies, he sends me these documents for analysis - step 1 of my services - so that we can make the respective corporate updates in Brazil.

Because I am fluent in English and Spanish, I can read and understand the documents in Italian – thus saving him time and unnecessary translations.

Currently, this analysis of foreign documents can be done using Artificial Intelligence (AI). But how do I tell my client that I analyzed their documents using this tool?

Furthermore, when I started serving him 11 years ago, AI didn't exist. And he had to trust me to get the service done.

Today I use AI to streamline my services, but I would never delegate a crucial task of my job to it. And my client knows that.

I'll leave you with this reflection on AI vs. trust; I'd appreciate seeing your thoughts on this topic in the comments!
